We are still looking for vendors to setup at this years events.  We would like to welcome Yellow Bear Mobile Grub truck, Poutine Shack food truck.

Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides

We will be offering tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides on July 25th & 26th. Watch for updates about pricing and to getting your tickets

Sponsored by Four Rivers Co-op and Westline Ford.  Tickets for the balloon rides go on sale through our online portal at 8:30 on May 30th.  Pricing will be $75 for an adult ticket and $40 for a childs ticket.  These tickets do not include gate admission.

Radio Control & Drone Aircraft

There will be a number of RC aircraft to view.  Ask the RC enthusiasts questiions and maybe get involved in this exciting hobby.

Family Activities

The Y will have activities setup to entertain children.

We are looking for more people interested in joing our team.  I you like airshows and have some time to help us plan and organize please reach out to one of our directors.

TICKETS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE ONLINE.  THEY CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE GATE.

Gates open at 8 for the balloon rides fand 10 for general adminssion, the show starts at noon.

Vanderhoof International Airshow — Day One Recap

Day One was a massive success. The crowds showed up, the energy was high, and the performances in the sky were unreal. From formation flying to roaring passes overhead, the pilots delivered nonstop excitement.

Amazing turnout — families, aviation fans, and visitors from all over filled the grounds.

Vendors crushed it — great food, great merch, great community vibes.

Balloon rides = fan favourite — short lineups meant more people got to lift off, so organizers opened even more ride slots. Huge smiles everywhere.

The airshow is just getting started — Day Two is coming in hot. See you there for more sky‑high action.

We need help and input from the public to put on the best show possible. Here are a few places you might be willing and able to help us out with.

 

Volunteers

Volunteering can be very rewarding, and we can’t put this event on for our community without help form people just like you.  Volunteers who commit to 2 half  day shifts will be eligeble for a free weekend pass for themselves.  If they commit to 2 full day shifts they will be eligable for a free weekend pass for a family memeber or friend.  All volunteers must cordinate their shifts with our Volunteer Cordinator.
